Soft Toy Safety

Magic world of childhood is full of the brightest impressions and cannot be imagined without soft toys. They amuse children and help them to grow and dream. Soft toys are made just for fun. Besides, toys help adults to stay younger in their heart for a long time.

For 8 years the factory "Tigres" has been producing fluffy friends for kids from all over Ukraine. The main components of "Tigres" soft toys are tenderness of mother's hands, care and warm feelings, loyalty and love.

Dear Parents, remember You shouldn’t cut down expenses on toys! Poor toys can cause injuries and damage, poisoning by toxic substances and allergy for children.

Remember the basic safety requirements for toys:

  • Safe material of construction of the toys and a safe surface. The presence of a special passport, which state that toy is made of safe material that does not possess allergenic and toxic properties. Little kids often lick toys so the paint should not come down.
  • The absence of the sharp unpleasant smell. An indication of the likely danger is bad (chemical) or the sweet smell of toys, especially if it is painted in bright colors.
  • Strength. If the seams in stuffed toys are about to brake, and are likely to come off, You shouldn’t buy such a gift to little baby, because this toy could injure or harm the child. As well as toys, which have small parts inside (balls, sticks, etc.) which child can swallow or push in it’s ear or nose. So do not forget to check the reliability of all fixtures and connections.
  • Safe color. Very bright, cutting eye color can make a negative impact on vision and neuro-psychological condition of the child.
  • Safe sound. Avoid toys with loud, shrill and sharp sound that can damage the ear of your child. Choose toys which sounds calmly and melodious.
  • Safe design. Absence sharp edges and burrs, cracks and narrow openings, where children can shove your fingers. For the smallest children the toys with long cords (15 cm) can represent big danger.
  • Safe size. The toy and its parts must be of a large size to avoid their swallowing by children. The toy should be of medium size (about 10 to 40 cm). Such size makes it comfortable for babies. The recommended age is usually indicated on the toys. If it contains a character from "3 years", it may contain small parts. So do not experiment!
  • Safe weight. Value scales toys and baby. Is a child capable to raise a toy? Is not it very difficult for it? Will it hurt the child if it misses it?
  • Quality assurance. Toys should be bought in specialized stores — this will ensure that all necessary requirements are met. Street vendors rarely have the necessary documentation for their product. The stores  must have certificates (declarations) from the manufacturer for all their products as well as certificates of quality and hygiene. These documents must contain the time of the document and batch number of products.
  • Hygienic. Ability to clean and wash the toy.

So, do not forget about the safety while giving happiness.

Our children deserve the best!
